Hockey: India beat Japan 4-2 enters Four Nations Invitational Final

In Hockey, India defeated Japan 4-2 in their last round-robin match of the final leg of the 2-leg Four Nations Invitational tournament at Hamilton, this morning.

Vivek Prasad, Varun Kumar, Mandeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh sounded the board for India, while Seren Tanaka and Shota Ramada were the goal scorers for Japan. With the win, India has finished the round-robin stage of the second leg at the top of the standings without a defeat.

It will meet Belgium in the summit clash tomorrow. India and Belgium had met in the Final of the first leg as well. Belgium had won that game, 2-1.
