Home Minister Amit Shah has tested positive for Coronavirus. The Union minister took to Twitter to inform about his health and requested all those who have come in contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested for Coronavirus.
Amit Shah said that his health is fine and he is being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. Amit Shah has been admitted to the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.
While Amit Shah’s extensive involvement in India’s Coronavirus battle makes the task of his complete contact tracing herculean, his close contacts will be traced.
As per doctors, Amit Shah has comorbidities and, thus, comes under the vulnerable category. His oxygen levels will be monitored from now on.
