Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s Film War has entered the Rs 300 crore club.

War box office collection

Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff must be on cloud nine as their action entertainer War has entered the Rs 300 crore club. And that too within 19 days of its release. War, directed by Siddharth Anand, has been making and breaking records ever since its release on Gandhi Jayanti. And in its third week, it crossed the Rs 300-crore mark leaving many blockbusters of 2019 far behind it.

After surpassing the lifetime business of Kabir Singh and Dhoom 3, War has now made it to the coveted Rs 300-crore club. According to early estimates, War made Rs 6 crore (approx) on Sunday, thus taking the total collection to Rs 301.75 crore (approx).

The festive season turned out to be a boon for YRF film. If the film crossed the Rs 50-crore mark on its opening day (Gandhi Jayanti), it hit the ball out of the park on Dussehra when it made it to the Rs 200-crore club. And now a week before Diwali, Hrithik and Tiger’s film crossed the Rs 300-crore mark.

Despite big releases like Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, War managed to attract huge crowds. And with still four days left for Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 to hit the screens along with Saand Ki Aankh and Made In China, War is continuing its winning streak at the ticket windows.

War is not only cooking up a storm at domestic box office but internationally too. The film is set to cross the Rs 100-crore mark in international market as well.

War, which also stars Vaani Kapoor, tells the story of Khalid, an undercover agent who decides to track down and kill his mentor and senior Kabir after he decides to go rogue.
