I will continue to question dictatorial behavior of state govt, says Raman

Raipur: Hitting back at Congress for its reaction to his question over employment blueprint Bharatiya Janata Party National Vice President and former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr Raman Singh said that it was his democratic right to raise question and that he would continue to stand against Bhupesh Government’s dictatorial behaviour.

Posting a tweet Dr Singh said that ‘people of the state need not have any position to question arrogant government which is being led by Bhupesh Baghel on issues such as that pertaining to village, poor, farmer or unemployment. ‘I have always served Chhattisgarh Mahtari and I will stand against the dictatorship of the government for my motherland, brothers and sister till my last breath…’, he said in his tweet. He said that … ‘I have become Dr Raman from Raman Singh by dint of my determination and passion.

I was elected MLA by the people of the state. My party entrusted me with responsibility of national vice- president. But every Chhattisgarh resident was given equal rights to question the elected government by the constitution of Baba Saheb…’ Earlier Dr Singh posted a tweet two days ago by tagging Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s tweet dated August 20, 2018 and said that ‘before election, he had evidence of the 2013 Naxalite attack in Jhiram, blue print for employment, plans for liquor ban, money to pay allowances to the unemployed, and to procure paddy from farmers at price of Rs 2500 per quintal.

Though there was money, but ever since formation of Bhupesh Government, none of these plans was implemented…’ Prior to this Dr Singh took a jibe at Congress government in the state over reports of immediate appointment of parliamentary secretaries saying that Congress had moved High Court and even Supreme Court by challenging previous BJP Government’s decision to appoint parliamentary secretaries.

Congress had described appointment of parliamentary secretaries by previous BJP government as unconstitutional. But within 18 months after coming to power in the state Congress realised that step of BJP government was right. Upset with constant attacks of Dr Raman Singh, two Congress ministers strongly reacted to him by holding a press conference today.
