IAS officers seek appointment from President Ram Nath Kovind; on assault on Chief Secy issue
Senior most officers of the IAS and DANICS cadres have sought an appointment from President of India.
The request for the meeting comes at the heels of an alleged attack on the Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash at the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
It need be mentioned that a delegation IAS and Delhi and Andaman Nicobar Island Civil Services (DANICS) officers met Home Rajnath Singh and apprised him of the situation in Delhi.
Even the IAS officer’s association of Chhattisgarh has extended support to the cause of Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash.
It need be recalled that Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash had alleged that he was assaulted by some AAP MLAs in front of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
It was informed that there are around 70 IAS officers and 400 DANICS officers working in various Delhi government departments.
The chief minister’s officer has termed the accusation bizarre and baseless. >
