In a daring attack, the red rebels blew up the farmhouse of a ruling BJP Member of Parliament Vikram Usendi with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

The incident is of the Kanker district in Chhattisgarh.

Incidentally, the attack comes at a time when the Chief Minister is carrying out a month long state wide Vikas Yatra.

Dr Raman Singh is also slated to visit the area today itself.

Sources meanwhile confirmed that there have not been any casualties so far.

This is because the farmhouse had been empty at the time of the attack.

The attack took place last night.

In terms of damage sustained, two rooms of the farmhouse have so far been damaged in the blast.

Even as police team has been dispatched to hunt down the ultras in the area, it is now known that the group also threatened the watchman to quit the job there.
