In Kabul At least 40 people have been killed and around 100 others have been injured in a suicide bomb blast near Siddhart Square in central Kabul on Saturday. There are many government offices located here. The blast happened around 12.50 pm in front of Jamriyat Hospital.
According to the news agency EFE, Health Ministry spokesman Ismail Kawossi said, “40 people have died and hundred have been injured and they have been taken to hospitals near Kabul.” The sources said that the people who were hit by the explosion included women and children.
This area is located in the old building of the Afghan Interior Ministry. Security forces have surrounded the area under precautionary measures. No group has taken responsibility for the attack so far. Taliban took responsibility for this attack. Last week, the Taliban had attacked near Hotel Intercontinental, in which 20 people died.>
