In poll bound Madhya Pradesh, the ruling BJP is struggling against rift of its own.

This is because, the BJP legislator Neelam Mishra from Semaria of Rewa district has leveled serious allegations against the incumbent Minister Rajendra Shukla.

It is said that Neelam Mishra has alleged that the Minister may be looking to target his husband Abhay Mishra in an encounter.

The issue became so prominent that the legislator staged a sit-in in Madhya Pradesh assembly well.

The Congress legislators too displayed solidarity with the protesting MLA.

The MLA alleged that the Minister is quite harassing her family and that it is his backing that has forced the police to lodge an FIR against her husband.

The husband, she said, had been arrested as well.

She went to the extent of suggesting that one should resign from such a party where no one is given patient hearing.

Amid the uproar in the legislative assembly, the state Home Minister assured the legislator Neelam Mishra of complete security.

However, the whole uproar led to suspension of proceedings of the house twice.

It need be mentioned that Neelam Mishra’s husband Abhay Mishra has only recently joined in the Congress party.
