India bowls out Australia for 195 runs in the first innings

Marnus Labuschagne was the highest scorer for Australia with 48 runs. India made four changes with Shubman Gill and Mohammed Siraj having made their Test debuts.

In the second test between India and Australia at Melbourne, the visitors are 36 for 1 at stumps of Day 1. Earlier Australia were all out for 195. Bumrah took four wickets and Ashwin scalped three.

Also, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant returned to the starting XI, in place of Wriddhiman Saha, Prithvi Shaw and Mohammed Shami. Pacer Shami is out injured and will be missing the remaining matches of the series.
