India does it again; Special forces cross LoC; down three Paki soldiers as retaliation

In yet another clear cut signal to Pakistanis that there would be response to Indian side sustaining casualties, the Indian commandos crossed over across the Line of Control and killed three Pakistani soldiers.

The report initially carried by certain sections of the Army has indeed been confirmed by the Army senior placed sources.

It is said that close to a dozen of the Indian special forces unit crossed over to the other side in the night of Monday.

The crossing over took place, according to reports, in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir and carried out the strike.

The retaliation is being seen as response to the martyrdom of four Indian soldiers including a Major by a Border Action Team of the Pakistan Army in Rajouri on Saturday.

When asked if the operation can be described as another surgical strike, the Army sources said that it was at best a “localised tactical level operation” by a local Army commander deployed in the region.

No Indian soldier in last night’s operation was injured.
