With focus and emphasis on implementing effective communication on the eastern border with China, Indian armed forces may finally have some solution at hand.
It is said that a Bengaluru-based company has offered to help the Indian Army leap over the language barrier.
This could especially prove extremely handy and effective for the soldiers deployed in forward areas and their Chinese counterparts.
Named as Cogknit Semantics Pvt Ltd, the company says that it has offered the army an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solution that can translate Chinese into English or Hindi in real time.
This is also as per a new report prepared by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on solutions to problems identified by the army.
The Chinese language barrier is one of the 130 problems identified by the Army Design Bureau (ADB) in three separate reports.
The company claims that the soldier only needs to have a head set and a tablet to get the real time translation.>
