The Indian fisherman who died in the Pakistani jail has been given back to the Indian family.
The dead body of Nanubhai Kanabhai Solanki, an Indian fisherman who died in Pakistan’s Karachi, was handed back to Una town of the state.
It need be recalled that Nanubhai was arrested by Pakistan maritime authorities in November last year for allegedly straying into the neighbouring country’s waters.
The villagers too mourned the demise of Nanubhai.
The locals were also aggrieved that Pakistan should treat their fishermen like this.
On August 13, India had repatriated seven Pakistan civilian prisoners.
On the same day, Pakistan had also released 29 Indian prisoners to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14.>
