With Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg facing tough questions from US Congress, a 12-year-old school student is said to have conceptualized the idea of the Indian version of social networking site.
He is said to have claimed being assisted by three seniors.
The boy identified as Rahul Chaudhary said that he has come up with the Friends Networking site that allows registration of only Indians.
He also claimed to have adequately addressed the issue of security of user data.
It is said that within the first two days of launch itself, over one hundred people have joined the networking site with around 30 users turning out to be ‘fake’.
Rahul Choudhary is a class 9 student and has Riddhi Soral, an engineering graduate of Rajasthan Technical University, and security developer Ishan Upadhyay as team members.
Tapan Kumar Jha, who is an engineering graduate and a cyber security expert is also part of his team.>
