India’s Kamalpreet Kaur will compete in the women’s discus throw final at 4.30 pm this evening at Tokyo Olympics. She is hoping to become the first Indian to win a medal in athletics at the Olympics.
With a 64 metres throw in qualifying round, Kaur automatically qualified for the medal event. Other Athlete to qualify automatically was Valarie Allman of the United States with a throw of 66.42 metres.
