ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2020 registration begins

Attention students, the online registration process for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s Young Scientist Programme 2020 will commence from today i.e. February 3, 2020. The programme is primarily aimed at providing basic knowledge on space technology, space science and space applications to the students who have a keen interest in the area of space.

The programme will be for two weeks’ duration i.e. from May 11 to May 22, 2020. Three students from each state and union territory will be selected to participate in the programme. Those students who have finished their eighth class and are currently studying in class ninth are eligible for the programme. The selection will be based on their academic performance.

The two-week progamme will be held in four centers of ISRO located in Ahembdabad, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, and Shillong. The programme is aimed at providing students basic knowledge of space technology, space science, space application.
