Jamat-e-Islami Hind opposes making national anthem compulsory in Madarasas

Jamat-e-Islami Hind president Maulana Jaluliddin Umri has criticized the national anthem being made compulsory on Madarasas. He said that national anthem must not be imposed on the madarasas and people should decide on their own if they want to sing the anthem or not. It need be mentioned that Allahabad High Court had directed that national anthem needs to be respected by one and all and that it is a constitutional duty of the citizens.
