Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed the huge public gathering in Batkakhapa of Chhindwara district by mobile from Harrai block headquarters due to the bad weather.
He made announcement that Janjatiya Adhikaar Sabha will be formed to empower tribal village, village panchayat and block.
Maize will not be sold less than Rs. 1700 per quintal and arrangement will be made to procure all the forest produce on minimum support price.
Informing in detail about the Janjatiya Adhikaar Sabha, the Chief Minister said that petty issues of village will not be taken to the police.
The Janjatiya Adhikaar Sabha will be empowered to solve all the matters of village. This Sabha can also spend money for the development and will decide village’s development works.
Moreover, the sabha will work to maintain peace and order in village and shoulder the responsibility for villagers and village’s development.
Apprising about the schemes being implemented in the state for farmers, Shri Chouhan mentioned that proper price of maize will be ensured to farmers.
He further stated that the arrangement to purchase Chironji, Karnja seed, Achaar’s guthli, Nimboli of Neem, Mahua’s flower and gulli as well as all the forest produce on support price will be made.
While informing about the Sambal Yojana, he mentioned that each and every house of poor and majra tola will have electricity facility now.
The Minister for Public Helath Engineering Shri Jalam Singh Patel, President of Nagar Palika Shri Naveen Jain, President of Krishi Upaj Mandi Shri Radhelal Dahriya and other Public representatives were present on the occasion.>
