J’khand police arrests three, detains another nine; in CBSE paper leak probe

Delhi police have questioned over 60 people so far including 10 tutors and is also known to have seized mobile phones in some cases

In a major breakthrough, the Jharkhand police on Saturday arrested three individuals while also detaining another nine minors from Chatra region in connection with the ongoing probe of the CBSE paper leak.

This comes as the Delhi police also has been carrying out inquiries into the schools, examination centres and residences of students in outer Delhi.

Delhi police have questioned over 60 people so far including 10 tutors and is also known to have seized mobile phones in some cases.

Among those arrested is one who is a member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s youth wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.

This report however has been promptly denied by Saket Bahuguna, who is also national media convenor of the ABVP.

Bahuguna said that the arrested individual is not currently associated with the ABVP.
