Jogi’s hired helicopter; plaint lodged in Durg against service quality

plaint read that the helicopter had been hired for Rs 50,000 per hour

In a major development, Piyush Deshlahara of the Payal Enterprises has lodged a complaint with the Durg police regarding the extremely poor condition of the helicopter hired for the Jogi Congress supremo Ajit Jogi.

It was alleged in the plaint that the complainant had hired a single engine Bell 206/B-3 helicopter from the M/S Saar Vimanan Service Pvt Ltd.

The plaint read that the helicopter had been hired for Rs 50,000 per hour for non-scheduled fight charter.

But even as the complainant had paid Rs 69,000 in advance and that he had been assured by the helicopter company officials GC Pandey and Mohit Sharma that the helicopter would not require maintenance for a long time, it turned out that the helicopter shown to them in photograph was different to that one that had been delivered to them.

Piyush Deshlahara said that GC Pandey had assured them that the helicopter being hired would be able to carry four people and one pilot and that two pilots would also be appointed for the purpose.

Deshlahara on the other hand alleged that the helicopter delivered to them was in very dilapidated condition and not air conditioned as well.

He went on to claim that the travel in the helicopter became threatening and inconvenient at the same time within a week of the delivery of the carrier.

The complainant also alleged that the pilot was totally non-cooperative and used to travel to Delhi on his own due to which the helicopter became unusable for most of the time.

Although, the complaint has been made in the Durg district, it remains to be seen what action police takes in the case.
