Justice Prashant Mishra to perform duties of Chhattisgarh HC Chief Justice

Justice Prashant Mishra, senior most judge of Chhattisgarh High Court, has now been appointed to perform the duties of Chief Justice of state’s HC.

The appointment will come into effect from the date when Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi, relinquishes charge of office of Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh.

This is after Justice Tripathi being appointed as a Member (Judicial) Lokpal.

The order dated 22 March has been signed by Rajinder Kashyap, Jt Secretary to Government of India.
