Juveniles escape observation home in Ambala; heres whats known so far
As many as nine juveniles have been reported missing from an observation home at Ambala city in the early hours on Sunday.
Police have confirmed that few of them were accused of serious offences.
Most of the juveniles, police sources said, who escaped are said to be in the age group of 12 to 18 years.
Senior local police officials also made a visit to the observation home after the incident came to light.
It emerged that the juveniles broke the barrack’s lock and climbed the roof where after they used a ladder to scale the 20-feet high boundary wall of the observation home.
The inmates crossed two security tiers of the observation home to escape.>
