Kabul suicide attack kills six near Afghan intelligence agency

In Afghanistan, at least six civilians were killed when a suicide attacker on foot blew himself up near a compound belonging to Afghan intelligence agency in Kabul today.

Interior ministry spokesman Najib Danish said the attacker struck at a time when workers were arriving at their offices.

It was said six civilians in a car were killed when the attacker detonated himself and three were wounded. He said they were hit when they were passing the area in their vehicle.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the suicide attack.
