Kamal Hassan meets Rajinikanth; on ‘courtesy call’; speculations pick up
After making comment that it would be difficult for him to align with someone who has hue of saffron in his/her politics, actor turned politician Kamal Hassan met Rajinikanth in his Chennai based residence.
This has renewed speculations that a political alliance may finally come about.
Hassan did not elaborate on what transpired in the meeting but said that it was ‘courtesy call’ and nothing related to politics.
Kamal Haasan, who is also prepping for his first political meet on Wednesday, spelled it out again.
He said that only time can reveal if any alliance is possible with Rajinikanth.
However, Rajinikanth on his part said that Kamal Hassan wants to serve the people of Tamil Nadu and that he would pray for his success.
A vocal critic of the state’s ruling AIADMK government, Haasan is expected to unveil his governance model this week.
He is also likely to announce the name of the political party, he had announced last year.>
