Karunanidhi’s health condition stabilized, as per Kauvery hospital

In a bulletin, the hospital said there was a drop in his blood pressure and it was stabilised.

The Kauvery hospital where the DMK president and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi is admitted after suffering a setback to his health confirmed that his health has stabilized.

The veteran leader suffered health condition at his residence in Gopalapuram, Chennai.

In a bulletin, the hospital said there was a drop in his blood pressure and it was stabilised.

He is in the ICU and treated by a panel of doctors.

The nonagenarian leader was suffering from fever and infection for the past few days and was being treated round-the-clock by a team of doctors and nursing personnel at his house.

Party stalwarts like former Union Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi’s son M.K. Alagiri arrived at the Kauvery Hospital.

Also, the DMK working president M.K. Stalin’s son Udayanidhi Stalin also arrives at the hospital.

DMK leader A. Raja too visited the hospital.
