Kasganj violence; internet services restored accompanied with flag march
Days after Kasganj violence in Uttar Pradesh, finally the internet services was restored in town.
It need be mentioned that communal clashes broke out between two groups Uttar Pradesh’s Kasganj after a Tiranga rally that was taken out on Republic Day.
The internet services restoration was also accompanied by a flag march to ensure peace. It is said that the situation is said to be in control in Kasganj.
A shop in Malgodam road area in Kasganj was burnt down on Monday night. Police are investigating the latest incident in the violence.
Sixteen-year-old Chandan Gupta was killed and two others were injured in Kasganj area on Friday at a Tiranga Rally taken out by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers on the occasion of Republic Day.
On Monday, more than 112 people were arrested while Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) personnel intensified vigil in Kasganj. >
