With tension mounting over the entry of women in Sabarimala shrine, the Kerala police raided the district office of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at Nedumangad.
Local police sources said that the raid was carried out in connection with the bomb attack on Nedumangad police station.
The police upon raid recovered daggers, scythes and hydrogen peroxide, a chemical substance used to make crude bombs, from the premises.
Police sources also claimed that Praveen, the accused in the bombing case, using the office as a hideout.
On hartal day, four bombs were hurled at the Nedumangad police station. The officials had to run to safety to avoid the attack.
