K’taka Congress campaign committee to meet tomorrow; party manifesto in the making as well
With state election months away, Karnataka Congress’s newly constituted campaign committee is set to meet on Wednesday in Bengaluru.
The meeting has been convened by committee chairman Power Minister DK Shivakumar.
The committee includes Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Pradesh Committee President G Parameshwar, Lok Sabha leader of opposition Mallikarjun Kharge and state Congress incharge KC Venugopal.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi had constituted the campaign committee and directed for party to come up with a manifesto that is closer to the masses.
The committee will also have representatives from various districts across the state.
With anxiety levels riding high in state Congress, the party leaders too have started campaigning door to door in their respective constituencies. >
