Reaching village Khaltukri in Pandaria of Kabirdham district as part of Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan, the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh listened in to the woes of the people there.
While he directed the officials to ensure redressal of the problems being faced by the rural there, Chief Minister expressed displeasure at the delay in construction of bridge between village Makri and Khaltukri.
He said that the contractor may be expelled from the project if he is not paying heed but the construction work needs to be completed at the earliest.
He also directed the engineers to ensure completion of road works sanctioned under Prime Minister’s Rural Roads Scheme at the earliest or at least before the rainy season sets in.
Chief Minister also made inquiries into how much the farmers have been paid from the sugar mill of Pandaria.
The local official said that while the sugar is not getting sold, the farmers have been paid by availing loans.>
