Madhya Pradesh has become self-sufficient in oxygen production, one lakh liters of oxygen can be produced in a minute from various plants established here.
In the second wave of Corona infection, patients had to face problems due to lack of oxygen. Taking a lesson from this, the state government decided to be self-sufficient in the field of oxygen production and the exercise of setting up PSA plants in the entire state started. Getting success in this series, 176 PSA plants are being set up in the state.
From this, about 1 lakh 7 thousand 490 liters that is 215 metric tons per minute of oxygen will be made in the hospitals and will reach directly to the beds of the patients. Of these, 28 PSA plants have started. Rest of the plants will also be ready soon.
