Madhya Pradesh cabinet approves govt medical colleges in Seoni, Chhatarpur

By this decision, various schools to be under operational in a campus will be run as a school integrating them

Madhya Pradesh Cabinet, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today, granted its nod to new government medical colleges in Seoni and Chhatarpur.

The Cabinet gave its consent to 45 thousand 384 schools of school education department, under operational in one campus, and as 20 thousand 656 schools from academic session 2018-19 integrating them.

By this decision, various schools to be under operational in a campus will be run as a school integrating them.

Industry promotion policy

The Cabinet approved the proposal for amendment in Industry Promotion Policy 2014 and MP State Industrial Lands and Building Management Rule 2015. According to the amendment, decision was taken for special package to closed units on re-operating them after change in their management.

As per the decision of the Cabinet, the units to be set up in aspiring development blocks, industrially backward will be considered as a geographical calculation for investment incentive assistance for special help.

Under the Industry Promotion Policy 2014, necessary amendments were made in the list of ineligible industries by reviewing. The rules have been amended for increasing the lease period under MP State Industrial Land and Building Management Rules 2015.

Decision was taken for provision of financial assistance for giving employment to Divyang persons in private sector and include the option of giving financial assistance to tourism projects at par industry under the Industry Promotion Policy.

According to the Industry Promotion Policy, the Cabinet approved to continue the scheme for development of food processing industries, up to limit of Rs 120 crore from 2017-18 to 2019-20 from April 1, 2017.

Other decisions

The Cabinet granted its nod to 6350 new posts for the increase in capacity of Police Department.

In the meeting, the sanction was given to continue scheme for fruit-bearing tree plantation in one km distance from banks of Narmada river at both the asides, under the 12th five year plan, after April 1, 2017 from the year 2017-18 to 2019-20 and up to expenditure limit of Rs 346.86 crore.

Approval was given to establish School of Excellence for Eye in Indore and creation of 102 posts for it on the government expenditure in the meeting.

The cabinet gave its approval to continue share capital assistance scheme for new cooperative societies under the cooperatives department within the expenditure limit of Rs 11.20 crore from the year 2017-18 to 2019-20.

Endorsement was made to include construction workers under the Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan Sambal Yojana 2018 for
Saral Bijli Bill Scheme and the Chief Minister Power Bill Surcharge Waiver Scheme 2018 in the meeting.

The Cabinet decided to reconstitute Tehsils including Tahsil Chaurai, deleting 27 villages from Tehsil Chand, changing the boundaries of Tehsil Chand and Chaurai of Chhindwara district. Sanction was given to create new 286 contractual teacher grade-III for language teachers of special backward tribe.

Decision was taken to provide land to sports and youth welfare department for stadium construction in village Achhroni situated in tehsil Khaniyadana of district Shivpuri.

The Cabinet approved a proposal to construct Kisan Bazaar in all 379 urban bodies of the state for assistance to small farmers for sale of vegetables and seasonal fruits in urban areas. Consent was given to run Kisan Bazaar and maintenance by urban bodies.
