Martyr Ashwani Kumar Kachhi of Khudawal village of Majhauli tehsil in Jabalpur district, who sacrificed his life in the terrorist attack at Pulwama of Jammu-Kashmir on February 14, 2019,
was laid to rest with full state honours in his ancestral village today.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Kamal Nath, General Administration Minister Dr. Govind Singh, Higher Education, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister
Shri Jitu Patwari, MP Shri Rakesh Singh, MLA Shri Ajay Vishnoi, Chief Secretary Shri Sudhi Ranjan Mohanty, other dignitaries and villagers were
present on the occasion.
A huge crowd emerged to give bid final adieu to martyr Ashwani Kumar Kachhi at Khudawal village of Jabalpur district. The village was engulfed in gloom when the body of martyr Ashwani Kumar Kachhi arrived.
Chief Minister Shri Nath laid a wreath on the portrait of martyr Ashwani Kumar Kachhi at the funeral site and consoled the family members.
Shri Nath said that the state government is with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
It may be noted here that the Chief Minister had announced to grant financial assistance of Rs one crore, free residence and job to one member of
the martyr’s family.
