Dedicating the Sanyam Kirti Stambh and Vidyasagar Upvan at Raja Bhoj Setu during the 50th Diksha Divas programme of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, Religious Trust and Endowments Minister Shri P.C. Sharma today said that Acharya Shri should be honoured with the Bharat Ratna by the Central government.
He said that if the Central government does not make this announcement, we will honour Acharya Shri with Bharat Ratna after we come to power.
Minister Shri Sharma said that the state government is constantly working to promote religious activities. The government will build gau-shalas in every gram panchayat.
The government will extend all possible support to urban bodies if they construct gau-shalas and affiliate them with the temples. Shri Sharma said that the government has given a 3-time hike in the honorarium of priests.
The government is totally committed towards religion. He said that no one can stop the person who acquires the blessings of Jain Munis from moving ahead in the world. Shri Sharma said that the Sanyam Kirti Stambh dedicated to the public will inspire not only the Jain community but all the communities for control. Remembering Late Ashok Jain Bhabha, he said he was ‘Ajatshatru’(one who has no enemy).
Marriageable age of girls should be 25: Acharya Shri
Expressing concern over the disappearance of girls in the country, Acharya Shri Vidyasagar ji said that so far 1,82,000 girls in the 18 to 25 age group have gone missing in the country.
He said that the administrative officers are assigned the command of the district at the age of 25. In order to become MP and MLA in the elections, the age of 25 has been fixed. The marriageable age of girls should be fixed at 25 so that the protection of girls is ensured.
