Madhya Pradesh Minister has this advice for critics of state roads

claim had faced flak from opposition parties like the Congress

With election due in Madhya Pradesh, political statement of all varieties are being made.

It is in this context that the state PWD Minister Rampal Singh went on to advise those who had a “problem” with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s praise of the state’s roads to leave the state.

It need be mentioned that while the Madhya Pradesh CM has been all praises for the state roads and compared to those in United States, many have criticized the statements as exaggerated.

The claim had faced flak from opposition parties like the Congress as well as social media users who uploaded several pictures of potholed roads in Madhya Pradesh.

With polls now around the corner, the Minister Rampal Singh said that opponents having any problem with the praise of roads may leave the state.

He hit out at the previous Congress government under Digvijay Singh, claiming that roads at the time had got converted into potholes.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, who is also the local MP, was present during the ceremony.
