Maharashtra: 47,288 people tested positive for COVID-19 in last 24 hrs
In Pune more than 70 thousand while in Mumbai more than 50 thousands citizens are inoculated on Monday.

Maharashtra has become the first state in the country to cross the mark of 8 million doses of COVID 19 vaccine. Yesterday more than 4 lakh 30 thousand beneficiaries were vaccinated in the state.

From today All private offices have been asked to adopt work from home, while government departments, banking and financial sectors will operate with 50 percent capacity.
All amusement parks, religious places, saloons,parlours, gyms, indoor game facilities will remain closed. All political, cultural and social gatherings are also banned, cinema halls and theatres will remain shut.
Yesterday 47,288 patients tested positive for coronavirus in the state taking the overall caseload to 30,57,885. The state health department said that 155 patients succumbed to the infection taking the death toll to 56,033.
The Central Government has constituted high-level committees for Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Punjab in view of the recent very large numbers of daily new COVID-19 cases. Joint Secretary of Ministry of Housing and Urban affairs Kunal Kumar is nodal officer for Maharashtra. Under his leadership teams will visit the 30 districts of Maharashtra.
