Malala finally gets to visit Swat Valley; amid heavy security

Interestingly, she called Swat "a piece of heaven".

Well known Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, who is on a visit to Pakistan, first after she was shot by militants there, is now know to have visited the Swat Valley.

She has been provided with heavy security as the place in said to be extremely under the influence of extremists.

Malala had been shot in the head there by the Taliban for her promotion and propagation of of female education.

Local media sources said that the Malala along with her parents landed near her family home in Mingora.

She was also accompanied by Minister level politician perhaps to ensure security of the world renowned celebrity.

Interestingly, she called Swat “a piece of heaven”.
