Man attacks wife for ignoring him, watching mobile instead

In a rather bizarre case, a man in his forties, allegedly attacked wife for ignoring him.

The man identified as Asif Sattar Nayab attacked the wife with a chopper.

It is alleged that she was watching some drama series on her mobile phone rather than paying attention to him, which left the husband infuriated.

The accused Asif Sattar Nayab has a business of installing hoardings and stays with his family in Pune’s Salisbury Park area.

He was arrested and charged for attempt to murder after his wife registered a complaint against him on Monday evening, the police said.
