Man cancelled cab booking because driver was Muslim

A man claiming to be associated with a right wing outfit posted on his verified Twitter handle how he cancelled his Ola cab booking merely because the driver was a Muslim.

He went on to say that he didn’t want the money to go to Jihadis.

Identified as one Abhishek Mishra, his post suddenly went viral.

The verified Twitter user, who claims to be a “Hindutva Thinker’, and is followed by major political figures.

He defended his decision on the premise that he has the right to choose.

When twiterati came slamming him the Twitter user went on that if campaign against Hanuman ji poster on cab can be run, why is he wrong.

His tweet was condemned by a host of Twitter users including the likes of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and Delhi Congress leader Sharmistha Mukherjee.

The Congress leader, well known eloquent speaker as well, wrote: “I remember an India where people who thought this way would have been ostracized rather than admired &”followed”. We need to #BringIndiannessBack.”

Many users also asked Twitter to suspend him for the ‘hate speech’ and also urged Ola to ban him.
