A man who lost his wallet but also lost his hopes of recovering it suddenly came in for a surprise.
This is said to have happened with one Gurpreet Singh, a 24-year-old, who lost his wallet while travelling on the Delhi Metro.
Though he gave up on the chance of getting it back, he did receive it back in mail.
Gurpreet Singh was so ecstatic that he shared his story on his Facebook profile as well.
It was informed that he was travelling to Lajpat Nagar from the Central Secretariat and while he exited Lajpat Nagar metro station, he realized having lost his wallet.
While he did approach the customer care and was even told to wait for a few minutes till the train reached its final stop at Sarita Vihar, the metro officials confirmed not having found his wallet in the train.
But he was in for a pleasant surprise when on 26th march, he received a parcel from India Post containing his own wallet and a letter.
It emerged that the wallet had been found by another passenger, one Siddharth Mehta of Noida, who took the pains to not only recover it but also return it with all the money and documents intact. >
