As the gay sex between the consenting adults has now been decriminalized, a peculiar case has emerged as a 23-year-old homosexual man has been arrested.
Police said that the guy stabbed his male partner as he refused sex.
A case of attempt to murder under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused, said the police.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning at the 46-year-old complainant’s residence, it was informed.
Police confirmed that the two men were in a relationship for the last couple of years but the accused wanted to have sex in the morning, the victim refused after which a fight ensued between the two.
During the fight, the accused allegedly stabbed the complainant with a sharp-edged weapon.
He is now recovering in a hospital while the accused was arrested, the official added.>
