Bhilai: The Mayor-In-Council of Bhilai Municipal Corporation has approved projects worth Rs 17 crore for beautification and development of Kosa Nullah. The tender rates were unanimously approved for this project during the MiC meeting held on Thursday. Mayor Devendra Yadav chaired the meeting in presence of Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi. Two proposals for development and beautification of Kosa Nullah were discussed during the meeting.
The MiC members acknowledged the recommendations of the Tendering Committee and approved the Tender Rates for these projects. The proposal will now be tabled in the General Body Meeting. The MiC further approved the rates for conducting unforeseen sanitization works in Zone 5 of Bhilai Township. The work will be awarded to the person who will quote lowest rates.
MiC members Neeraj Pal, Laxmipati Raju, Johan Sinha, Dr Diwakar Bharti, Durga Prasad Sahu, Suryakant Sinha, Saket Chandrakar, Satyendra Banjare, G Raju, Sushila Dewangan, Sadeeran banu, Sosan Logan, BMC Deputy Commissioner Ashok Dwivedi, Superintendent Engineer RK Sahu, Secretary Jeevan Verma and others were present.
