Minister Ashwini Choubey blames Biharis for ‘overcrowded’ AIIMS

Politics is sure to heat up after Union Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey

Politics is sure to heat up after Union Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey made the controversial remark that premier All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) remains crowded due to influx of Biharis (or the people from Bihar state). The opposition parties RJD and Congress have demanded that the Minister must tender an apology over this remark.

Reportedly, Union Minister Choubey had said that it is Biharis who keep AIIMS over crowded as they come down to Delhi even with minor complaints of illness. Ruling Janata Dal United however has urged the Ministers and leaders to refrain from making such inflammatory statements.
