But the star wife is slowly and steadily learning the gimmicks of the trade, and giving the trolls a befitting reply almost all the time. But it took her a long time to make peace with his aspect of celebrity status.
Shahid Kapoor, who appeared on a chat show recently, revealed that Mira was easily affected by trolls earlier.
When asked how Mira deals with trolls, Shahid said, “First of all, there is a generational gap between Mira and me. We are 13 years apart, so we come from slightly different generations. So the generation I come from isn’t so affected by the public opinion.
That’s weird because I am actor but it doesn’t affect me because it is not the end of the world for me. But for her, it was completely new.”
He added, “She got a lot of attention which she was initally very uncomfortable about. So she has learnt to get better at it. Initially used to get thrown off. She used to be like ‘why so many people are saying all this’. I spoke to her and told her that it comes with the territory.”
Earlier Mira opened up about the trolling and negativity that she was subjected to. “The internet is one platform that is accessible to everyone. People can say what they feel and it gives everyone the right to express themselves the way they want and to what extent they feel like. So, there will be opinions. It’s not that everyone is going to love you,” she said.
