Currently on a mission to circumnavigate the globe, the all women crew of INS Tarini received Diwali greetings from none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It need be mentioned that Modi had earlier met the crew of INS Tarini conveyed his best wishes through a video call.
The Prime Minister also wished all success to the women in their mission. He made a video call to the crew members of INS Tarini to wish them on behalf of the nation, Navy spokesperson Capt.
D K Sharma said. PM Modi also wished them success in their mission, the official added.
INS Tarini is currently approaching its first stop in Fremantle, Australia and is expected to reach there on October 22 after covering 4770 nautical miles, said the Navy official.
Meanwhile, the prime minister also conveyed birthday greetings in advance to two of the crew Lt. Commander Vartika Joshi and Lt. Payal Gupta whose birthdays are coming up shortly.>
