More than Rs 3500 crores allocated to upgrade 25 vital roads, says Minister Munat

About Rs 326 crore had been allocated for three roads ( 84 kilometres) in Scheduled Tribes' Project and Rs 246 crore for two roads (65 kilometre) in the Scheduled Castes areas

Public Works Department Minister Mr. Rajesh Munat today said that an amount of Rs 3, 548 crore had been allocated to up-grade and relay 25 important roads in the Supplementary Budget 2018-2019.

The total length of the vital roads is around 898 kilometer. About Rs 2,976 crore had been sanctioned for 20 roads (749 kilometer) in General category regions.

About Rs 326 crore had been allocated for three roads ( 84 kilometres) in Scheduled Tribes’ Project and Rs 246 crore for two roads (65 kilometre) in the Scheduled Castes areas.

Minister Munat revealed that this includes relaying of-Kurud-Megha- Magarlod-Amlidih-Dhourabata-Khisora (43 kilometre) at a cost of Rs 127 crore 59 lakh. The road links Rajim-Gariyabandh.

Similarly Budeni-Nayapara- Paraswani-Magarlod-Mohandi-Borsi-Boyena route (72 kilometre) at a cost of Rs 284 crore 44 lakh. The road aligns with a route near Dhamtari. The up-gradation of Kalle-Awri-Semra-Gaadadih-Hechalpur-Kurra-Bhagatrai-Aaamdhi (30 kilometre) will be done with an investment of Rs 163 crore 94 lakh.

The Public Works Department Minister said that Rajim-Chhura road (45 kilometre) will be laid at a cost of Rs 163 crore 94 lakh.

Similarly, Paandukha-Jatmai-Ghatrani-Gaayedbari-Madel-Mudagaon (40 kilometre) road will be renovated at a cost of Rs 141 crore 60 lakh.

This route links to Chhura-Fingeshwar. Devri-Saldih-Gadhphuljhar-Toshgaon-Toresingha route (47 kilometre) roda will be laid at a cost of Rs 356 crore 56 lakh. Telkadih-Durg road (31 kilometre) up-gradation at a cost of Rs 118 crore 22 lakh.

Minister Munat said Dongarhgaon-Khujji-Pinkapar-Jebartala (23 kilometre) up-gradation at a cost of Rs 88 crore 53 lakh. Chuhikadan-Udaipur-Chandeli road (27 km) road at a cost of Rs 112 crore 85 lakh. Nipania-Latuva-Balodabazar (29 km) to be re-laid at a cost of Rs 129 crore 83 lakh.

Gotiya-Pallari-Batgan-Giruri-Chikli-Samoda-Achholi-Tumgaom road (40 km) to be laid at a cost of Rs 149 crore 93 lakh. Mengeli-Besarjar ( 26 km) at a cost of Rs 112 crore 43 lakh.

The Minister added that with the financial assistance of ADB, Tikrapara-Sehajbar-Semra-Bakara-Dhamtari route ( 61 km) will be renovated at a cost of Rs 279 crore 44 lakh.

Kurrubata-Raksapali-Kachhar-Usrout-Tarapur-Putkaapri-Suta National Highway (50 km) will be laid at a cost of Rs 180 crore 56 lakh. Dharamjaigharh-Kapu (32 km) at a cost of Rs 139 crore 66 lakh,Purur-Facandha-Pallari-Arkaar-Belhari-Jamgaon (35 km) at a cost of Rs 116 crore 92 lakh.

Minister Munat said that Farhibadar-Nipani-Mokha-Batler-Jamgaon (31 km) to be laid at a cost of Rs 143 crore 81 lakh. Anda-Ranchirai-Jamgaon (33 km) at a cost of Rs 104 crore 73 lakh.

Jaijaipur-Maalkaroudha-Belhabata (26 km) at a cost of Rs 111 crore 03 lakh. Sakthi-Tundri road (31 km) to be laid at a cost of Rs 136 crore 95 lakh.

The PWD Minister said that Bihrikala-Dhangarh-Somatola-Khadgaon road (39 km) to be laid at a cost of Rs 159 crore 12 lakh. Paali-Silli road (22 km) at a cost of Rs 95 crore 14 lakh.

Bakarooba-Lailunga road (23 km) at a cost of Rs 71 crore 88 lakh. apart from this , Sigora-Biskoul-Bodesara route (40 km) at a cost of Rs 150 crore 92 lakh. Basna-Basni-Paijania-Jarhagaon (25 km) to be laid at a cost of Rs 95 crore 48 lakh.
