MP: 18 new Covid cases recorded, positivity rate stands at 0.02 pct

Out of the 18 new cases , Indore reported 7, Panna 4, Bhopal and Jabalpur reported 2 each while Raisen, Sagar and Ujjain reported 1 case each.

Madhya Pradesh on Thursday recorded 18 new covid cases, taking the tally to 7,91,796 while the overall recovery counts stands at 7,81,153. The positivity rate is 0.02 percent.

Out of the 18 new cases , Indore reported 7, Panna 4, Bhopal and Jabalpur reported 2 each while Raisen, Sagar and Ujjain reported 1 case each.

The active cases in the state stands at 130 while no fresh death due to the infection was reported , the death toll remains unchanged at 10,513. More than 7 lakh vaccine doses have been administered yesterday.

Meanwhile, with the gradual rise in Covid cases in Indore district over the past few days, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan cautioned the people, saying that even slight negligence towards adherence to COVID-19 protocols could quickly turn the situation bad.
