MP: Prior registration will not be required to get vaccinated in rural areas

Chief Minister said that now prior registration will not be required to get vaccinated in rural areas. Villagers will be able to get vaccinated directly at vaccination centers.

In Madhya Pradesh, more than one crore Corona vaccine doses have been administered so far to people above 45 years along with those between 18 to 45 years of age.

While reviewing the Corona vaccination work, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the vaccination should be undertaken as a campaign in the state.

In urban areas, the remaining vaccines can be used without prior registration after 4 p.m. Aadhaar card will not be mandatory to get vaccinated without prior registration. Voter ID and Driving License etc. will also be valid.

Chief Minister directed that priority groups should also be formed in 18 vaccinations like hand cart owners, hawkers. Parents of young children can also be kept in the priority group. The state is currently receiving Covaxin and Covishield vaccines.
