Indian Navy commandos ‘Marcos’ have done it yet again. The specialized warfare unit foiled a piracy attempt in Gulf of Aden on an Indian ship. According to details revealed by Indian Navy, the INS Trishul patrolling the Gulf of Aden was alerted when pirates tried to strike an Indian consignment ship but the Navy ‘Marcos’ intervened timely and foiled the attempt. The vessel rescued has been identified as MV Jag Amar. The Marcos unit is specialized in anti-terror, anti-piracy and other kinds of sea warfare operations.
