It is yet another jolt to the former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The country’s Supreme Court has gone ahead and disqualified deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif from holding office for life.
The ruling came about on Friday.
It need be mentioned that Nawaz Sharif, in his sixties, resigned in July after the Supreme Court disqualified him from holding office over an undeclared source of income.
This is even when the leader has quite a grip over the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party.
Sharif says that he never received the salary, and that he held a position within that company in order to maintain a valid business visa in the Gulf state.
The Supreme Court ruled that whether he received the salary or not was immaterial.>
