Naxals blow up sub-station close to Cgarh border

The naxals have struck yet again in restive areas of Andhra Pradesh close to border with Chhattisgarh.

The insurgents have blasted a sub-station there.

Though there is no loss of life or property, it is said that the blast may have been to scare away people and register the presence of the insurgents in the area.

It is said that the rebels have even left pamphlets claiming responsibility for the blasts.

The responsibility has been claimed by one Shabri Area Committee.

The exact location of the incident is said to be village Sarivela in Chintoor police station limits of Andhra state.

The security forces have begun searching in the area.
