Nepal Prime Min to visit India; meet top leadership

Oli is set to be accompanied by a high-level delegation

The newly installed Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to make an official visit to India from April 6-8.

He will be accompanied by his wife as well.

Nepalese Prime Minister is embarking on India visit on the invitation of Indian counterpart.

Oli is set to be accompanied by a high-level delegation and will meet the senior leadership of the country.

Apart from the official engagements in New Delhi, Prime Minister Oli is also scheduled to visit GB Pant University of Agriculture in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.

The visit assumes significance as relations between the two countries is age-old and also because there is concern in India that incumbent leadership of Nepal might be more leaning on the China.
